Mini Review: Whisper of the Tide by Sarah Tolscer

Released on June 5, 2018, Whisper of the Tide by Sarah Tolscer picks up shortly after the conclusion of Song of the Current, quickly bringing readers back into Caro and Markos’ adventures. With shipwrecks, lost treasure, old and new enemies, dark magic, and breathtaking romance, Sarah Tolcser weaves another epic story about chasing your fate and charting your own course.

Caro and Markos have settled into a routine: Wake up, eat breakfast, and try to figure out who might attempt to assassinate Markos today . . . so the currents aren’t exactly calm. Markos is in constant danger, and his claim to the throne is shaky without the support of an army. But then a powerful Archon offers Markos the military might he needs in exchange for marrying his daughter. Markos and Caro must decide which is more important: their love for each other or the fate of Akhaia. And Caro will have to decide if her destiny is to sail with the tide, or chart her own course.

Mini Review Mania (July 30 – Aug 3)

Hey Bookworms! So after a bit of a blogging hiatus, I decided that I am going to try something new this week! I’m calling it “Mini Review Mania”, and I will be posting a minimum of one Mini Review (250-500 words) each day (maybe even more if I’m feeling up to it)!

Intrigued?
Here’s the books I hope to be reviewing this week:

  • Monday: Legendary by Stephanie Garber
  • Tuesday: The Defiant by Lesley Livingston
  • Wednesday: Whisper of the Tide by Sarah Tolscer
  • Thursday: They Both Die at the End (Audiobook) by Adam Silvera
  • Friday: Stormcaster by Cinda Williams Chima

What other books would you like to see me review in the coming weeks? Let me know!

June 2018 Reading List

Hi Bookworms!

After a very busy April and May, I am happy to report that I am now officially done university (next up: Convocation!), and I am now working. While this means that I am still relatively busy, I am hoping to find myself with a bit more time for reading, reviewing and photography, among other things.

I even managed to get a decent amount of reading done in May – I finished several books, including Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian, Stormcaster by Cinda Williams Chima, War Storm by Victoria Aveyard, A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J Maas, The Girl You Thought I Was by Rebecca Phillips, and The Bird and the Blade by Megan Bannen! I am hoping to have reviews available for all of those I haven’t yet reviewed in the next couple weeks, so stay tuned!
